Get In The Right Mindset!

It's Monday, and if you're anything like me, you're already thinking about Tuesday, Wednesday and the rest of the week. As a business owner, you are always on the move - there is never a moment where you "stop". I mean sure, you have moments of leisure and rest, but even in those moments, your subconscious and conscious mind are always working and planning the next move, thinking about what needs to be done, and focusing on forward momentum. I know what you're thinking...I'm preaching to the choir, so to speak.
As busy as you are, and as crazy as your life may seem right now, I want to encourage you to press "pause" on life for just a minute, and do this one thing...breathe. Slow, steady breaths. It may feel weird at first, but as you breathe, take a moment to close your eyes, and reset your mind. What do I mean by "reset"?
I mean that you need to drown out the noise. Everything that is distracting you from your goals, and everything that is not the immediate priority, must be silenced. Write your thoughts out on paper. Prioritize what needs your most immediate attention. And then reset. Schedule your week out, get your mindset and focus in the zone. And make the important things happen!
I make it a weekly habit to use the first portion of my Mondays for a mindset reset. Try this out and see how it works for you!
